The MYK Steel Welder certificate (Level 3, 11UY0010-3) is subject to surveillance every 6 months during its validity, using the method in TS EN ISO 9606-1 clause 9.2. If surveillance is missed for reasons attributable to the holder the certificate is suspended; once the reason is removed it stays valid to term.
Under MYK national qualification 11UY0010-3 Steel Welder (Level 3), certificate holders are subject to surveillance during the certificate's validity. The welder's qualification is checked every 6 months, using the method in TS EN ISO 9606-1 clause 9.2.
If surveillance cannot be carried out for reasons attributable to the holder, the certificate is suspended. Once the reason for suspension is removed, the certificate remains valid until the end of its validity period.

Who is responsible?
The qualification ties surveillance to the certificate holder: surveillance missed for reasons attributable to the holder leads to suspension (section 14). Businesses that employ welders may also want to track surveillance dates.
If the deadline passes
If surveillance cannot be carried out for reasons attributable to the holder, the welder's certificate is suspended; once the reason is removed, the certificate stays valid until the end of its validity period (11UY0010-3, section 14).
