Refund Policy

Last updated 2026-09-27

This Refund Policy explains when and how you can obtain a refund for a paid ExpirySuite plan. It forms part of our Terms of Service. ExpirySuite is operated by Newempo LLC, 30 N Gould St #40045, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA.

1. Try before you pay

ExpirySuite offers a Free plan that does not expire and does not require payment details, and your first paid subscription begins with a 14-day trial (one trial per person and per workspace; a payment method is required to start it). We encourage you to use these to confirm the Service meets your needs before you are charged, which is why most refund requests can be avoided entirely.

2. Merchant of Record

Paid plans are sold through Stripe, which acts as the Merchant of Record and reseller for your purchase. Stripe issues your invoice, collects any applicable VAT, GST, or sales tax, and processes approved refunds back to your original payment method. Stripe's end-customer terms apply to the transaction in addition to this policy.

3. Subscriptions and cancellation

Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly depending on the billing period you choose (currently, plus any applicable tax: Pro USD 19 per month or USD 190 per year; Business USD 49 per month or USD 490 per year). You may cancel at any time from Plans & billing in your account. Cancellation stops future charges and your plan remains active until the end of the billing period you have already paid for — the current month or year. Cancelling partway through a period does not by itself create a refund for the unused part of that period.

4. Refund on your first payment

If you are charged for a paid plan for the first time and decide within 14 days of that charge that the Service is not right for you, contact us and we will refund that payment in full. You do not need to give a reason.

5. Unintended renewals

If you were charged for a renewal you did not intend — for example, you meant to cancel and did not — contact us within 14 days of the charge. Where the plan has not been substantially used during that period, we will normally refund it.

6. Service failure

If the Service is materially unavailable or does not function as described for a sustained period and we are unable to resolve the problem, you may request a refund for the affected portion of your current billing period. Please note that our Terms of Service explain the limits of our responsibility for any individual reminder, status, or report.

7. What is not refunded

Outside the circumstances described above, fees already paid are non-refundable. This includes billing periods that have been substantially used, and accounts suspended or terminated for breach of our Terms of Service.

8. How to request a refund

Email [email protected] from the address associated with your account, and include your invoice or order reference. You may also contact Stripe directly through the receipt they sent you. We aim to respond to every refund request within 5 business days.

9. How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Once Stripe processes a refund, the funds typically appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. We cannot refund to a different payment method or account.

10. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under mandatory consumer law that cannot be waived by agreement. This includes any statutory right of withdrawal available to consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom, and the rights US state automatic renewal laws give subscribers — including the right to cancel an automatically renewing subscription online, in the same medium in which you signed up, without speaking to anyone. Where such rights apply, they are in addition to the refund options described above.

11. Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us before raising a chargeback with your bank. We can almost always resolve billing problems faster and without the account suspension that an open chargeback triggers.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The version in force at the time of your payment is the one that applies to that payment. Questions: [email protected].
