Drivers of commercial vehicles in Türkiye must renew their psychotechnical report every 5 years (Road Transport Regulation, Article 34/1-e). A lapsed report is subject to the administrative fine in Road Transport Law No. 4925, and drivers who turn 66 must submit the report to keep their SRC certificate valid.

Under Türkiye's Road Transport Regulation (Karayolu Taşıma Yönetmeliği), drivers of commercial vehicles must obtain, every five years, a health report from an authorised health institution showing they are physically and psychotechnically fit for professional driving.

Who is responsible?

The driver obtains the report. The regulation sets the requirement for drivers of commercial vehicles, and the transport operator must make sure its drivers meet it.
