Top up your guarantee by the end of February every year
Private employment agency guarantees in Türkiye are recalculated against the gross minimum wage from the start of each calendar year, and the agency must top up or supplement the guarantee by the end of February (Law No. 4904, Article 17; Regulation, Article 19(3)). Failing to do so carries an administrative fine.
Under Türkiye's Law No. 4904 on the Turkish Employment Agency, guarantee amounts are recalculated against the gross minimum wage and increased with effect from the start of each calendar year. Private employment agencies must top up the guarantee or provide an additional guarantee by the end of February (Article 17). The Private Employment Agencies Regulation repeats this rule (Article 19(3)).
The guarantee equals twenty times the gross minimum wage at the application date for the activity permit, and two hundred times for the temporary employment authorisation; it is provided as an irrevocable, open-ended bank guarantee letter or paid in cash in Turkish currency (Law, Article 17; Regulation, Article 19(1)). The Minister may raise the temporary employment guarantee up to twenty times (Law, Article 17; Regulation, Article 19(2)).
