Send your annual workforce statement in Muharram

Every employer in Saudi Arabia must send the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, during Muharram each year, a statement of its workers' names, jobs, wages, ages, nationalities and work permits, plus a report on work conditions and expected job changes (Article 25, paragraphs 3 to 5 of the Labor Law).

Article 25 of the Saudi Labor Law (Royal Decree No. M/51 dated 23/8/1426 AH, as amended, most recently by Royal Decree No. M/44 dated 8/2/1446 AH) sets out information that every employer must send to the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development.

Every employer must send a statement of its workers' names, jobs, occupations, wages, ages and nationalities, the work permit numbers and dates for non-Saudi workers, and other data set by the implementing regulations. It must also send a report on the state, conditions and nature of the work, and the expected decrease and increase in jobs during the year after the report date. Both are sent during the month of Muharram each year (Article 25, paragraphs 3 to 5).

The same article also requires two ongoing notices: a statement of vacant and newly created jobs, with their type, location, wage and conditions, within 15 days of the job becoming vacant or being created, and a notice of the action taken on a Saudi candidate nominated by the employment channels within 7 days of receiving the nomination letter (Article 25, paragraphs 1 and 2).
