Under Saudi Arabia's Commercial Register Law in force since 3 April 2025, the commercial registration no longer expires; its data must be confirmed online each year on the registration anniversary. The owner or authorised representative confirms it; 90 days unconfirmed means suspension, a year of suspension deletion.

Saudi Arabia's new Commercial Register Law took effect on 3 April 2025. The commercial registration no longer has an expiry date; the old renewal is replaced by an annual electronic confirmation of registry data, due one year after the registration date and done online.

According to the Ministry of Commerce, if the data is not confirmed within 90 days of the due date the commercial registration is suspended, and if it is still not confirmed within one year of suspension the registration is deleted.
